Who has the sweetest kids....??

I went scrappin' all day with jeniece at scrappy chic yesterday....and when I walked through the door....I had this waiting for me...from my girls!!!! How sweet....just made my night....just reminded me of their dad...and how they remember how he would be on our anniversary...Sommer even signed a card saying how she appreciates and loves me....that appreciate meant alot to me.....

and I did get 2 layouts done yesterday while scrappin' with Jeniece at Scrappy chic.....this first one..is a pic I took like a week ago when we were getting hit with some snow...and went to feed the chickens some scraps out the front door and stepped out to far...so even though I had some freezing toes....I thought the print was cute..so of course I had sommer fetch the camera...I love this hot pink heidi swapp alphas against the kraft paper.....
and this one is a pic tonee took on christmas...and I like that sommer always seems to just appear in the background....don't you love lil' sisters..and this cute paper is from the new line from yellow bicycle...

Okay tonight is weigh in night....and I am a little nervous, well I am always nervous on weigh in day...but after christmas weigh in day....yikes!!! But I did pretty good this weekend....and hoping for a loss...any loss tonight!!!

Anniversary

Today would've been our 15 year wedding anniversary...and 22 years together!! It's weird, because I guess you don't count them anymore...but how could I not think of Dec 28th...and not count the years....together or apart, it's hard for me to even believe that this will be my 2nd anniversary without him...I was the luckiest girl ever, to have someone who always thought of me first, treated me like I was the most beautiful woman...that he was lucky to have me!!...yeah right...for someone to still make you laugh...after being together for over 20 years...I know realize that , that was such a gift...that he was a gift..and I was lucky to have been loved by him...it just ended too..early...I wanted more time, I wanted to become nerdy grandparents together......okay I don't want this to be my mood of the day...but just wanted to say Happy anniversary...baby..and just like last year, I plan on staying busy...hitting the gym and then scrappin' all day at Scrappy Chic....I think last year I scrapped with friends too...wanted to finish up my christmas pics.....took this after the kids finally fell asleep...and after Santa arrived...(of course)
and the stockings were hung.....

and then guess what time....I was waken' up by whispers and laughter coming from the living room 4AM<....

that was okay, I know they were excited, and at least this way....I could let them open everything, and then go back to bed.Sommer is lovin' on her favorite gift..her nintendo ds..that she wanted so desperately, and of course it had to be pink!!

I think the girls (and Chris) had a good christmas.....and even though it was a little different this year....I had a good christmas too..

here are some of the gifts I got this year.....I have been wanting a wok...and some choppin' knives....and this cookbook..is so awesome, delicious meals...and very low calorie....

and such cute pink vintagey....frames and stuff...

Christmas morning after going back to bed....and then waking up at around 9am..I just felt good....I felt the christmas spirit...I cooked breakfast...and as they piled out of the bedrooms one by one....they were very thankful..to have some eggs,bacon (turkey) and hashbrowns..waiting for them in the kitchen, and as soon as the table was cleared I started on the christmas dinner, I cooked a ham, and a turkey ham for me....some corn bread cassarole, stuffing (got recipe from biggest loser) had turkey sausage, and low cal bread, baked potatoes (instead of mashed) and steamed broccolli and cauliflour instead of green bean cassarole, and of course deviled eggs...and made them low cal too....So I got to eat like a "normal" person....but!!!!!!!!! I did good until it came to having left overs in the fridge!! I have to say....I may have reached my chubby lil' fingers in that fridge one to many times......So if I don't get a loss on monday..I will know the exact moment that made that happen, but I didn't make excuses...and I didn't beat myself up...too..bad!! just hopped back on the program and back on the treadmill...the only good thing about the left over fail...is that at least everything was a healthier version of what I normally would've had in there, but that's not an excuse..I was still out of control, not hungry and just wanting to eat the food cause it tastes good...so the leftovers had to be quickly removed from the building...I'm just not that strong yet!! but once they were gone...I felt so much better and the chickens ate pretty good that day too...Okay enough talking...I will hopefully be posting some scrapbook pages tomorrow....I feel a creative explosion coming on....but usually when I say that I get there.....and all you hear are crickets...in the background....ain't nothing creative....bye!!

Christmas eve after party

after my uncles party we headed back to my place to exchange gifts with my mom...so here Sommer is passing out presents making sure everybody has one before we start rippin' into them.....check out mom's cute pj's and slipper socks...she would kick my butt..hee,hee... in this pic I was trying to figure out who was more excited..Chris or Mikey??
Sommer and Destiny knew exactly what to do.......

and my sister in law Michelle looks like a bomb went off around her, but this is how your house should look after opening presents....love it!!!!

and I know my brother has had a rough year....but it made me feel good to see him so happy has he watched lil' mikey open his gifts...and seen how happy they made him........and that he could get down on the floor and play with his son..

and I think everybody got new pj's from mimi...

ahhhh...boring christmas photos doesn't get much better, ha,ha!!! Only about one more day of them, and then it will be out of my system...plus I think I am croppin' at Scrappy Chic on sunday...so I might even have something scrappy to post soon....I need to get my scrap on...and God knows I've got some pics to scrap.

X-mas eve party

this was the first time in at least 10 years that the christmas eve party wasn't at our house, but it was kinda nice to just leave it up to someone else..and just hop in the car, and go hang at someone elses house....so here is the family...heading out the door...(yes I am loving having a tri-pod)we all headed over my uncle's house...and alyssa ed never has any problem finding someone to pick her up.....here are her and Tonee' the oldest and youngest grandchildren

plus after this party we were heading home to exchange gifts with mimi.......It was a fun party we did the gift exchange game....the one where you can steal somebody elses gift....I ended up getting some lotto tickets but only won 2 bucks!!!

Grandma's buying...

for the 2nd year in a row....instead of buying gifts my grandma takes the entire family out to dinner as her gift...So this year she invited Chris too..so here we are on our way to Flat Rock, Michigan...I think we had about 20 of us there...here is Chris,Tonee' and my dad and mom..

Okay I am freezing my balls off......(okay I don't have balls...but if I did they would be frozen) I guess today is officially winter..and it feels like it too.....Wanted to show you some of the new goodies I picked up from Scrappy Chic last week...some were in my kit and some may have fallen into my basket?? it happens!! but I got some of the new american crafts teen paper...with these bright 80's feel colors...and then I seen these heidi swapp alphas..in these cool colors like a hot pink and this blue is just gorgeous...I wondered why I was drawn to this blue...as I am sipping on a optifast shake..it's the exact blue has my packaging on my drink!!! and then I feel in love with this mirror album from heidi swapp!!! and you can buy clear pages to add to it!!!!
so I wanted to use the mirror album right away....could'nt figure out a good way to take pics or scan..this scan does nothing for it.......

you can see the mirror a little better here, besides my butt in the back ground, but at first I thought it was gonna be like a cheap fakey mirror..but it just seems so real.....I love this album!! if I haven't already said that...and it's going to be at Scrappy Chic...probably drop it off this week sometime..so if you are in the store I hope you will check it out...the pics don't do it justice..

so I had to figure out what to put in it.....so I decided to fill it with pics of the photo shoot..we did this fall....and use my american crafts paper...and between each page is a clear overlay page....

sorry pics are so awful....just couldn't get it to cooperate!! Well hope everyone is had a good weekend...weigh in tonight!!! light as a feather...light as a feather....hee,hee...

Wii fit

well the snow storm I wished for....definetly came....it is beautiful..but I have to admit I barely made it out of my drive way yesterday, kept hearing Ed's voice telling me to turn the wheel and then push the gas....turn it the other way...and give it gas!!! and finally I got free......so that I could go scrappin' with jeniece..and we actually got a couple pages done....and plus I almost finished my heidi swapp mirror mini book....it's pretty simple but I really like the way it turned out....I will take some pics today and probably post them tomorrow....supposed to get together for a big family dinner tomorrow.....looking forward to that.....hope to hit the gym this morning..and then scrap the day away....hey the house cleaning can wait til' tomorrow...right???

snow storm

took these pics of the kids.....they went out to build a snow man but the snow was too..light..so instead they had a snowball fight....Tonee' said for some reason Sommer and chris enjoyed throwing snowballs at her a little too..much!!!

but I was glad to see them go outside and play together....now I am up early...trying to see if Sommer has school today...it doesn't look to bad out there right now...but I guess we shall see....I would love to get snowed in for the weekend..

Yesterday..I headed up to scrappy chic to pick up my design team kit, and shop for a "abc" swap I am doing with renee....Oh you should see the cute mirror album..I got!! I am working on it..right now...it's so cute!! but anyway..so when I headed out that way....I decided to see if there was a snap fitness in the area..and there was....so I slid in there for a quick workout, I love that you can go to any snap fitness..comes in handy.....I think I am almost done christmas shopping....oh and I stopped at Jcpenney yesterday....I have a new clothing goal too....they have the cutest levi jeans there..but they only go up to 24W...I want those..I did pick up new pair of jeans...and they were a 26W...felt so good!! Okay the news is starting gotta go......

Santa Claus is coming to town.....

On tuesday...look who we got to see!! yes sir....Santy Clause....himself...and this is the closest I've came in years to getting a picture of Sommer with Santa...and probably my last too....the grief group I go to gave the kids this christmas party and then I made sure to horribly embarras sommer by getting my picture with santa too....I told Santa it's been a loooooonnnnggggg time since I've sat on santas lap....he said oh it could'nt of been too...long!! love you santa....
and then everybody got a present (sommer got a gift certificate for toys'r us) she was VERY happy.....and then everybody got to pick a stuffed animal.....these ladies that run the program are amazing......

Well we are covered in snow...and I am loving it!!! and it looks like more is on the way....Sommer is hoping for a snow day tomorrow.....!! looks like she could get her wish.. Off to pick up my DT kit from Scrappy Chic today...wanna have that baby in my hands incase I do get snowed in this weekend.....
