dinner with grandma...

We kinda took over the lil' flat rock cafe restuarant..yesterday....the family kept coming in...and grandma was right at the head of the table... mom with lil' mikey....and my uncle jimmy

mom was so funny she carries the memory makers 601 idea book in her purse....hee,hee!! and out it came......so she passed it around the table with all my pages bookmarked....she's so cute...she has a daughter crush!!!

what a weekend??

I am so glad that I didn't just sit home all weekend....I went and cropped with the peeps, on friday...at Scrappy Chic...We about had the entire gang there...Jeniece,Alison,Denise,Carla,Miki, Sandi ....even kathy and Heather stopped in for a visit....Plus 2 of the ladies from JJ's group were there.....so I was literally surrounded by friends......and look at the mess I made.....!!! Make sure to note the 2 giant cups of caffiene and the bowl of m&m's....I sometimes can't believe the mess I make......but there it is in full color....and jeniece working hard in front of me...we also had to stop and sing happy birthday to Jeniece whos birthday is on new years eve.........but we did a little early celebration!!!
and I got 3 layouts done...and plus I did 2 mini books for Tonee's best friends......

Okay just realized that I pretty much only scrapped Tonee' !! yikes...believe me Sommer will notice!! She's so funny....she actually told me that I have been scrappin' way to many pages of Tonee'......but Tonee's pics always inspire me...

Today I am getting together with family and going out to dinner with Grandma......this should be entertaining!! Don't worry I will bring the camera....hee,hee.......

try not to be too...jealous of my new christmas ornament......from jeniece...isn't it beautiful??? yep...she's crazy!! and that's why I love her... but this will be on my tree....every year now...hee,hee..yesterday I hung out at her place...just needed to get out so we did a (byot) crop......and I got 2 pages done....
Tomorrow would've been me and Ed's Anniversary....and instead of being home....doing nothing...We are all going to up to Scrappy Chic to crop.....so looking forward to that....getting out and having fun....So stop in and crop with us.....or just stop in and say hey.....

Christmas Eve party

Christmas eve went really well....it was alot smaller than usual...look at the beautiful poinsetta JJ gave me...really set the mood...and she also bought me this awesome card table set...that came in really handy!!! for Euchre..(sp)
JJ showed up on christmas eve with arms full of homemade cookies, rolls, corn cassarole,cheesy potatoes, and a smoked turkey!! Everything was so delicious!!!

My parents really spoiled us this year.....loved seeing the kids all excited.....Was really hoping to hear from Ed's side of the family....but it looks like that's not going to happen.....they haven't remembered the girls in a few years at christmas...but I thought maybe this year, with everything that's happen'ed they would....but what can you do???

another Santa (Carla) came by and dropped off some presents for the girls.....and even a couple for me....."so excited" to see the girls open presents in the morning......

Christmas time is here.....

Well everytime there is a knock on the door.....there seems to be a surprise...or a blessing!!! Last night Santa (Carleton Rotary Club) showed up with a present for me....a brand new beautiful winter coat....and it fit perfect.....I haven't had a new coat in years....and never this nice...., plus they donated a envelope full of gift cards....plus a ton of groceries.....and I love that there was even things like toilet paper and paper towels.......
so tonight....I put sommer to bed....popped up the scrapbook table in the living room.....figured I would watch the Christmas Vacation.....and then "knock Knock" .....another visit from Santa....??? Mrs...Heather shows up....with the most thoughtful....idea...she dropped off a gift and said it was for lil' Mikey from Uncle Ed.....!! is that the sweetest thing...ever?? Oh..my gosh! I don't know what I did...to deserve all of you.....I have the most amazing people in my life.......and besides the gift for mikey..she got something for the girls......and me.!!! (zone gift certificate....oh yeah!) So I called mom.....and cried...!! yep that's what mom's are for...she's getting used to these phone calls....and even she said she has never seen....such an out pouring of love....in her life!! and I agree....I'm blessed...thank you!!

I did finish a page last night......simple but real...just a layout about Ed's work boots......

Christmas Party!!

Had so much fun at the christmas party last night.........we showed up about an hour late...because somebody had the wrong time...I won't point any fingers....but her name sounds like beniece...hee,hee!! But as soon as we got there...we got to munch on some yummy...treats.....somebody made some yummy.....chocolate cheese cake......as you can see somebody liked it....ALOT....then she turns to me and asks if she has anything in her teeth.......she cracks me up!!me and jeniece in front of the tree at scrappy chic.......so sweet!!
and then erin took this one of us.....and tried to get the beautiful tree in the pic...it's so tall!!!!!!!!!! If you haven't seen it you should stop in...it's so pretty.

After we ate....we were checking out everybodys first scrapbooks....but for some reason, mine got the most giggles......one page in particular.....!! Which I will scan it and post it here tomorrow...so you can all have a chuckle....I think jeniece was laughing so hard....I think she was starting to tear up......

Then we all made an ornament........with the basic grey figgy pudding...papers

they were alot of fun to make....and they look so cute....I still need to add a couple pictures.....and the date...but even unfinished I like it!!

I felt bad that I didn't bring any presents....cause everybody was so creative...with their gifts....check some of the goodies we got....these cute mason jars filled cookies and then some spoons with the chocolate on them...and dipped pretzels....plus I wanted to thank Erin and her family who gave me another really special gift too...thank you so much!!! more goodies!!!!

and then I was handed this gift bag on my way out by chris.....from Scrappy chic...and some other Secret santa customers????? hhmmmm.......so to you all who...gave this gift......who ever you all are....WOW!! thank you....I just kept pulling out gift card....after gift card....amazing!! and check out all the cute goodies....(great for the stockings)!!we also got a Scrappy Chic gift card.....which I held for about 5mins....till I spent it.....I couldn't resist picking up these new papers from K&Company.......

and also these new ones from junkitz!!! the colors are just awesome!! I can't wait to play with these.......soon I hope!!! they also got lots of new vinyl thickers....in...with the new fonts and colors.......

and then later some of us played cranium...which I would never..play but it was fun!!!

Today started out so good felt all in the christmas mood.........but within' an hour.......down hill.....I try not to think to much about the future....I just can't!! and this morning.....I tried to imagine christmas morning without Ed...having the girls come in and wake us up at 6am.......we stumble...out to the living room...and act surprised to see all the gifts from santa.....Ed would always ask the girls...." what did you get?" "what did santa bring"........and then he would be the one to open all the packages...put all the batteries in...., and then when it was all over...we would just look at each other like....shoooo...we did it again!! and then he would start cooking his famous bisquits and gravy!!! And for the last 21 christmas's i've spent them with him......and when I try to imagine...christmas without him....it just breaks my heart......So to all of you...enjoy your hubby, your kids your family......because if you would've told me that last christmas would've been our last together....I would've thought you were insane!!
