Sunday in Monroe Michigan

we had a busy day......me and sommer hit church in the morning...then headed to the mall to catch a movie (she had a free pass burning a hole in her pocket) so I had to sit through the movie Bolt....but really it wasn't that bad.......even made me cry..but don't all those disney movies do that???? So after the parade we hit wendys for lunch and I had a ceasar side salad..( 1/2 the dressing) and it was so good.....and it didn't even bother me that everyone else was eating the typical burger and frys...I enjoyed the salad....Then we seen the parade was starting so we headed outside.....I think I have been to this parade almost every year that I can remember...I love this one..of sommer because she is so freaked out by the characters....she so afraid I am going to draw their attention over our way...she literaly hides behind me until they pass....but when I took her pic she didn't even realize they were right behind her....ha,ha....

and I love the bands....I had a year or two in the flagcorp with the jefferson high school band...and I think once you're trained with the beat to march...it sticks with you forever......and when they come by...blasting that christmas music..it just feels good!!!

and here I am freezing my buns off ( I wish)....

and here he is the one we've all been waiting for....Santa Claus!!!!
