I was surprised to see it snowing this morning when sommer was getting on the bus.....I love the snow, I hope it stays through christmas......it's just so beautiful...and when the landfill across the street gets covered....it looks like a big mountain covered in snow...well I guess it is a mountain covered in snow...but you just kinda forget its a mountain of trash when its covered in snow!!
I got this.....cute postcard yesterday from Silvia...all the way from Holland...how cool is that....she has a great blog...that I love to stalk...and there is a link to hers on the side...so check her out!! But thanks silvia...it did make me smile... , because with this in the mail, I also got the copy of our wedding license that I had to order...so I had a short boo-hoo....just brought back a few great memories.....When we got married...we just went to the court house, we already started our family, were already paying bills...we just went down and made it official.....but what's sad is we always talked about renewing our vows......on the beach, barefoot....at Sterling State Park...of all places....but we kept saying after we got Tonee' graduated....
I picked this book up too.....the movie comes out on the 21st...and yes I am tempted, but thought I would give the book a peek...first...I know that her husband dies at 35...and it's her friends that get her through this......plus I think he left notes for her...as how to get on with her new life....
and speaking of friends....I got a call from Carla yesterday with some great news!! and then JJ dropped over last night with a gift basket that a group that her kids belong to raised money....to give this basket to us.....It was just so sweet to think of how hard they worked to make this happen' , it was so cute...filled with hot cocoa, a gingerbread house kit (which sommer is driving me nuts to do, so that might happen tonight), a gift card, plus they gave me the stuff to do christmas cards, like stamps...and a gift card to buy christmas cards...such a great idea....she thinks of everything!!
and of course as soon as the basket was empty....you know who...moved in....I think he thinks that he is a tiny little kitten...because he is always trying to shove is big rear end in things that are much too..small!! Either that or he knows that if he does something cute...he'll make it on the blog.....hee,hee!
I did a layout of the girls at the Christmas in Ida parade...and I've been playing with the printer and found out it prints this 3x3 size too.....
I think the peeps are getting together this weekend.....get ready for us Miki.....I have a driver so mix me up something icee and fruity!! and full of alcohol! just kidding!!......oops...sorry don't know where that came from...but it still sounds good!!

ooohhh..I love the 3x3 photo and layout, glad it's working great for you! I had TEARS running down my checks over your cat..I thought my was funny...just cracked me up! You'll have to let me know how the book is..I thought I'd read it too, since I wanted to see the movie and they usually leave something important out! I am hoping to scrap on Saturday too! Sandi
