thanks for the nice comments on the video of my mini book....it's always hard to see what you look like on a video..and sound like....yikes!! but it was fun......what should I video tape now?? We are still having fun with it......even video taped jeniece giving me a tuturial on how to do dishes?? Lord knows I need it......speaking of dishes...I am having a family cookout tomorrow...and I need to get my house cleaned!!! but there is a problem....I hate cleaning....if you see my house...you will believe me...but I really do need to get it clean...meeting some new family members...So instead of spending the day scrappin' I will be doing what I hate most cleaning....and probably cover the "devil" pool too.....someone asked why I call it the devil pool?? It's just been a nightmare, the pool was Ed's project, but I wanted to keep it going for the girls.....from day one, it was a nightmare to get blue, the ladder broke, a hole in the tubes...hole in the liner.....I'm just not into it.......not feelin' it....don't want to mess with it....but anyway...I did finally finish a page it's of me and sommer at the auction at Scrappy Chic......

and then I did a page for my journal too.....used a library card I picked up from scrappy chic....too..cute!! How this came about is...I was staring out my kitchen door, looking at the trees, the yard....the sky...just nature and it made me think of life.....and how I feel about mine....and if I had to explain how I feel everyday....this is it....
but.....I do have moments of happiness, and I laugh, and I love and I am loved...but at the end of the day....it's back to those 3 words...last night was kind of a dark night...and really I did it to myself...before I know it I find myself...surrounded by all the cards I got from everybody, his cologne...and the recording of his voice...."saying I love you" as I was reading the cards....I kept saying why are you being so mean to yourself......put them away!!! I was affraid I was going to use up all the batteries in the recorder....just to hear him laugh on this recording....and to say I love you...I could just play it forever....he didn't want to die...he didn't want to leave us....and he didn't know that a few days after leaving this message he would die......it still is hard to convince myself...that this is really happening...

wow...didn't mean for this post to go there....but I just type what I am feeling...and that's it..

Mini book

Okay...I finally loaded this video...remember I can't see myself..so I never knew if I was holding the mini in the right spot...and for some reason the cat and chickens wanted to be there with me the entire time...so that's why I look paranoid..cause I was surrounded...I actually scrapbook last night too...whoo-hoo.....and I can't believe all the comments for the RAK...sommer is so excited to pick a winner....

It's finally time to give away a RAK.....just some stuff from my stash.....plus the entire grahton line from scenic route that I got with my scrapbook trends pub..because I already have it....lots of stuff...and even those tiny alphas from making memories that we all love!! all you have to do is leave me a comment on this post......and I will have Sommer draw a name on Monday..........

still trying to up load my video with my mini book....the file is kinda large...I can't believe I talked for almost 6 minutes...it didn't feel like it....but it's kinda wobly...and I can't see myself...so it's hard to get the feel of it....plus gracie attacks my feet during it...and the chickens.....yikes..how much more country can you get......so still trying to get that uploaded....Good luck with the RAK...can't wait to see who wins it....

well gotta pick up my house.....My sister in laws birthday is today...and everybody is coming over here......bye!

trying to figure out the camcorder still...isn't easy with dial up!! I know!! I know!! finished the mini book I've been working on...will post that tomorrow...and a RAK...I didn't forget...we are still having fun...video taping anything and everything....as you can tell....sorry abou the chicken video..ha,ha!!!

not much going on around here.....Sandi as soon as I finish the mini book ...I will post it...hope to work on it tonight.....

Thursday night...I had this cricket..that was in my room somewhere...didn't bother me too..much because I sleep with one of those sound machines...that sounds like your in the middle of the woods...so it kind of fit with the mood....but then last night....who is sitting on my blanket when I get ready to go to bed.....yep...mr. cricket!! So it took me a few tries but I scooped him up and threw him outside...but then it got me thinking about the meaning of stuff...you know like if you see a butterfly or dragon fly......which either one of those will stop me in my tracks......to just watch...but then I thought about the cricket...and even though this is what the meaning is if you dream about...crickets...I've learned crickets aren't a good sign..check this out -

To see them, indicates hard struggles with poverty.
I don't want either one of those....

Yesterday....I got to go out to dinner with Miss J......which was fun!! Oh yeah...and I got one of these http://www.theflip.com/products_flip_ultra.shtml the girls are having a blast with it...of course just taping themselves doing stupid stuff!! but if I actually learn how to use it and up load it.....I will hopefully be able to get some videos on here too....??? we shall see!!

Scrapbook Trends Toot!!

got an email from...Scrapbook Trends for the january issue....and it's one of my layouts of my neice alyssa.....so I am super geeked!!! Yesterday hung out at Scrappy Chic all day with renee played around with a mini book not finished yet...but actually enjoyed playing around with it....meet this sweet lady...at the store...(didn't catch her name) but she said she reads my blog..so I wanted to say hey...she had the cutest lil' guy with her......but it was a good day...renee is super inspiring...even if she doesn't think so!!

The store was unpacking lots of new stuff.......cute jenni bowlin stuff....and then I got these tiny picture frame embellishments...they're so cute...I will post a pic tomorrow...I almost have my RAK ready....Oh yeah..and I signed up for the yard sale at Scrappy chic...so I am going to be going through all my crap....to hopefully sell it...so I can buy more crap!! yay!!
