the family that gets pierced together.....

Well both my girls got pierced yesterday.....Sommer got her ears pierced...Ed actually took her to get them pierced when she was 3 months old.....but they closed up....she was so nervous..but she did good... they're just a little tiny birthstone.....and she's already talking about all the earrings she wants to buy........when she can take them out...

and then miss Tonee' cal comes home last night with the other side of her lip pierced......and her friend heather got her tongue pierced...so here the 3 of them are showing off....their piercings....

Tonee' looks like she has dracula teeth or something......Sommer says that she has the coolest sister.....scary!!

I am going to pick up my DT kit from scrappy chic this morning....so I am hoping to get inspired to scrap.....I think I am still mourning my typewriter....tried to mess with it last night...thinking maybe I could still use it...but I need to face the fact that it is done!! but at least with summer here and garage sale season..maybe I can find me a used one......

look at Ranger.........

Ranger is the cutest puppy.....well maybe not a puppy!! but he almost made me...want a dog....(almost) I think the only dogs I like are old ones...who just lay around like this.....(and Miki I took a couple cute pics of him I am sending you in the mail) we got to miki's on friday...and after a quick run to the LSS and dinner...we were off and scrappin'
it was so much fun....we had drawings for cool prizes, you got more tickets for more pages......check out some of the goodies I scored!!!

and at our seats she made each of us...an altered letter....can't wait to hang this on my wall!!

and then Carla bought me an "S" to alter....I am addicted to the "S"s right now....so I made this over the weekend too...

weekend croppin'

just got home from a weekend crop at Miki's I am telling you she could open her own scrapbook getaway...she treated us like princesses....I have pics to share but I haven't dug out my camera yet!! but I did get 4 pages done, altered an "S" that carla bought me and did a page in my journal....but also ran out of printer ink, had one two many shots of tequila and brace yourself...I broke my typewriter.....panic...okay so "ranger" the dog might of helped me break it....but he's too cute to take the blame...

had a blast.....and can't wait to do it again!!!

seen this on leahC's blog and thought I would try it....

I did it....

I finally went down and ordered Ed's headstone.....it was weird to see his name...let alone my name and birthdate...but it's a beautiful stone, it's jet black with "Compher" in the middle with a wedding ring under it with the date we were married in the ring...and then our names to each side, it's such a slap of reality to see your name, birthdate and a spot for your death date...But it will take about 6 weeks for it to come in...and I can't wait to get it out there in the cemetary...I also order me and the girls the "thumbies" charms...which has Ed's thumb print..I had to go to the funeral home to order them...it was weird to see the folder that held all the paper work , that i had to fill out when we planned the funeral...but they're so awesome over there...But I did it...it's beautiful..... I also took Sommer to get her hair cut....she wanted it super short...I didn't want it short at all.....but it's her hair, it's almost summer so we compromised with a shoulder length.... she loves it.....the lady that cut it was so sweet, but at one point she started asking sommer what her dad is going to think of her getting all her hair cut off...and before sommer could say anything the lady , was like I hope your dad's not going to be mad at me, is he going to kick my butt......going on and on about what her dad's going to do...finally sommer just looked over at me....and I told the lady that he had passed away...she felt awful! but I told her not to worry about...I mean how is she supposed to know....This was sommers first time getting her hair cut at a salon, she had alot of fun...and she cracked me up....on the way out , she asked the lady if she could keep the comb??? I don't know where that came from...weirdo...hee,hee....

I feel like I haven't scrapped in a month....soo...looking forward to a weekend of croppin' at Miki's with the gang.......

first weigh in!!!

had my first weigh in today.......I lost 8.4 pounds!! yeah..they count that .4...if only every week could be like the first week...but she said that normally you should look to lose...1 to 2 pounds a week....So i feel pretty good...cause I didn't starve or live on salads....celery sticks....now if I don't gain it all back this weekend...at a weekend crop I am going to...should be fine...Yesterday me and sommer stopped a this old run down bridge that I remember going to with my mom when I was a little girl...it's really beautiful.....and of course had to take a few pics....

look at that hair....we both need to be chased down with a pair of scissors!!

I think I will take her after school today....she's never been to a hair salon...so she will think that's pretty cool....

hurtin' over here....

I never thought I could be sore from playing video games!! but I am...!! me, sommer and Tonee' played this carnival game against each other last night....I swear my arms and shoulders feel like they're gonna fall off....and then the girls did boxing.....and they practically fell on the floor after it was over....I took these pics the other day when heather came over to play......you can't help but to get your entire body into it while you play...so it's funny to sit back and watch other people play......so while the girls played...I scrapped in the living room...and did this quicky page.....

okay I actually made it throught saturday night live.....was a good one too...the did a spoof of Christian from project runway...he was working his feirceness...and then I got 2 pages done...the 2nd one is super simple...but it just felt done...so I stopped...this first one is of tonee' with her new car........she's super excited!! and I wanted to do a page of it....and yes another one of Tonee' this is of her and her 2 best friends......

was kinda hoping that it would be a beautiful sunny day (yes I am coming around to the season) but it looks kinda gloommy over here on my end.....

it's saturday night liveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

just finished a page..that I started at jenieces last night....and I am looking forward to watching Saturday night live....and scrappin'....oh yeah..I am a wild woman on saturday night!!! and I am not afraid to admit...that I even napped for it......Wow!! I am old....and look what I came across today.....can you guess who??

I just got my pink paislee stamps yesterday....the alphabet..is so cute!! So expect to them way too..much on the next couple layouts!! I am going croppin' tonight over at jeniece's tonight...while the kids are playin' ...and I would love to get a layout done that I loved....I did this one last night...and I love it...but it might be because it has my 3 favorite people in the picture...and my new favorite product!!??
I also did something on wednesday that I have been thinking of doing for a few weeks...and I wasn't sure if I was going to post about it.....but then I got busted!! hee...hee...I joined weight watchers this is my first time..and I am really excited...since Ed died...the idea of living a longer life...without him in it...just didn't sound like a good thing....but I keep looking at these girls...and thinking I have to give it a shot!! so wish me luck....It was so funny....I sneak into WW step my rear end up on that scale...and all of sudden behind me I hear "staci?"....oh lord !! behind me stood a fellow scrapper!! that I've met at Scrappy Chic..and online!! I mean what are the chances..!! But I am going to take it as a sign...that I was supposed to be there...and there was something comforting knowing someone there.....and I hope to see her next wednesday...at my first official weigh in!! I plan on using her for support....I was so excited that at the meeting there was one guy that had lost 200lbs..and a lady that lost 160lbs!! What?? I didn't think this was possible without surgery anymore!! and I have nothing against the surgery...Ed did it...and he would've never changed a thing...but I always felt that it wasn't for me.....my biggest fear is the weeks that I don't do good or I have a gain!! and that's when I don't want to just give up....which is what I do...!! But what I like about this plan..is that I can still run to mcdonalds....and eat regular food...as long as I keep it in my points area....so I don't feel like I have to eat salad...a celery sticks everyday....cause next weekend I am going to a weekend crop...at miki's and she always has yummy food!! so that will be my next challenge!!

morning...

had our grief counseling last night.....we mixed with the kids, and we all shared how we cope or what we do when we miss our loved ones...and everybody shared..I passed the first go around,and then...I thought I was ready for the next.....and as soon as I started to speak...the emotions hit...(I can't help it!!) and I started to say that I talk to him...and I lost it!! I felt bad cause there were kids....and I know sommer was embarrassed.....ahhhgggg...I tried to be strong...I tried!! sometimes I get pissed at myself for not keeping it together....when I need to..I need to go headstone shopping....it's not a fun adventure....I think I have an idea of the one I want..but I think the finality of it...is almost paralizing.........but I don't like him not having one out there either....and with the weather getting nice...I am sure it will be a good time to do this..... I finished a layout for the Wii challenge over at Tally Scrapper......I have to show you a few pictures of what I got in the mail !! and I had no idea....it's a memorial mini album(the first picture at the top is the cover)....that Benita http://imascrapbooknut.blogspot.com/ made for me, it's absolutely beautiful...and I know that once I fill it with pics of Ed that we will cherish this forever...it's full of beautiful quotes and poems...

when I first opened it...yay..she made me cry...just because what I've learned over the past months is the kindness of people....(scrapbookers ecspecially) I know that Benita has had some major losses in her life....so I know that she gets it...but she didn't have to do this...but it meant alot to me.....thanks

it's also been one of those card weeks......lots of love in my mail box!! the middle card is one of those music cards...and it plays rascal flatts!! (thanks JJ)....and the one on the right is a gorgeous card from Marie...and the other one is from Sal....they always brighten my day....knowing people are still thinking of you even though it's almost been 6 months!!

been working on this one for a little while....just finished it today....."this season at the compher house" is the title...and it's just a wrap up of our christmas eve and christmas day...last year.....sorry the pics are so small...but I had so many pages...

Monday Morning.....

Had baby mikey over yesterday.....just think only 3 more months before he isn't the baby anymore...I just can't imagine another baby coming...... and I actually finished a layout.....I started it at the crop friday...but finished it last night......

about 11pm last night I was on the computer and the girls were in bed....when I heard what sounded like somebody eating chips??? creepy!! but no fear..it was just Gracie......Since when do cats like chips?? weirdo....
