here are just a couple of the layouts I did with the Novemeber kit "recess" from Wescrap , the kit was the most inspirational kit I've worked with in a long time, I hope you will check everything out over at www.wescrap.com I will be over there all month....I will post more layouts soon......sorry they're so small...My computer won't let me load bigger ones..right now..frustrating!! ughhh.... did this one of tonee' on her 22nd bday....

this red one is simple but one of my favs....it didn't scan great cause of all the yummy buttons and stuff...I shouldve took a pic...

such a fun halloween this year....On halloween night, me and the girls went to my childhood neighborhood to trick or treat!! me,aadynn,sommer,payton & tonee" before trick or treating sommer and aadynn carved pumpkins!! Aadynn just wanted to eat the pumpkins!!
On sunday me and eric took the girls to a trunk or treat event in toledo, ohio, took this pic of syerra, aadynn & me...before it started.

and on saturday night, me sommer & Aadynn went to a trunk or treat in ypsilanti...we were all kittys...LOL

here is me and eric waiting on syerra to get out of the moonbounce, which she quickly did after the lil boy next to her threw up!!

was so thrilled to get a request from somerset memories for 4 of my layouts...I just started submitting again last month.....after being out of the publishing game...for a long time....so this request has really inspired me to start submitting again.....it was always such a high to see my layouts in a magazine....such an honor...I love it!!

wanted to get a few fall pics of the girls outside yesterday.....and even though my daughter lil miss Aadynn wasn't feeling to up to it...she still looks cute even if she wasn't going to give me a smile..lol those beautiful brown eyes.....and yes she is still in her jammies....ha,ha!! ohhh well...

now my beautiful grandaughter payton was all smiles for gram...she jus had fun playin in the leaves...and eating sticks...ha,ha!! she's so cute.....

hard to believe she is going to be 9 months next week!! and aadynn will be 11months...both on the first....

looking forward to some trunk or treating on saturday...and maybe sunday too...and then of course full out trick or treating on monday....I better charge those camera batteries....both girls are being kittens....and so is me and sommer..but costume is only going to be the ears...lol

for some reason....my layouts wont load unless I make them tiny!! so hope they show up....I really miss the blog...I guess facebook has really taken over the old fashion blog these days...cause now even your layouts get posted when you load them...but wanted to catch up and load some layouts....it's a lil more difficult than it used to be...before baby girl...aadynn..lol plus I am waiting on my grandaughter payton to get her.....but anyways here are a couple I've done..this first one was of our trip to saugatuck michigan this summmer... and this one is sommer starting 10th grade......

spent sunday at scrappy chic in livonia scrapbookin....love sundays they're free from noon to 6...was so happy that kathy and miki showed up to..it's been so long!!! but i got a couple pages done......there were some new label stickers from 7 gypsies that made me stop in my tracks!!

oops loaded the last page twice again...ughhh...still rusty at this blog thing..lol but things are good here, i've joined the gym again, and am trying to get back to where i was before having aadynn bryn but it's taking a little longer than i thought...need to post some pics of the baby and my grandaughter soon....so cute!!

everything is going well...I got my C-section date...so Aadynn will be here Dec. 1st....2010..can't wait..that's 6 weeks from today.....she is doing good..they say she is about 4.5 lbs...which is pretty normal....

was happily shocked to get another issue of somerset memories with 2 of my layouts in there....thought I was done..... love this one of my dad,brother and nephew working on my lawnmower.....

couple more layouts done, finally getting the scrap bug again.....hope it sticks around awhile, going scrapbooking at erins with jeniece on tuesday.....this first page I did for a challenge at tallyscrapper, the only color we could use was from a piece of patterned paper...and had to use white cardstock....like the simplicity of it... this is one of a pic I've had on my phone, of some flowers I got from a friend in chicago....glad I finally got it scrapped...

and great shot of tonee, sommer & chrissie at the baby shower.....

this is christmas paper....but I just loved these green polka dots!!!

just rsvp'd to a crop for friday night, I haven't been in months, and am looking forward to seeing everybody, and actually scrappin', I think I am going to just bring my mini book for the baby, the baby shower is sunday, so hoping to take my mind off the shower, been cleaning the house, getting things ready. finished a couple more pages....I am loving my new ikea desk...which I need to take a pic, but i keep wanting to wait til it's clean and organized, but that's not gonna happen..so i guess I should just be real.....used some paper from the new basic grey line....cuteness.. and this was a fun one, i used some of that spray "paint" i got in my kit over at tally scrapper...very cool effect...

looking forward to scrappin with jeniece this weekend, we are gonna try hard to make some scrap days together, we've both been so busy....and we are neglecting our scrappin and time together, and with 2 babies coming, I can't imagine things are gonna get less busy...

yesterday got to finally hang with jeniece all day at scrappy chic.....and look at this awesome lil' find I came across...some film strip riboon from Tim Holtz!!! yummmmmm......split a can with jeniece and it was only like 3.99!!

and I actually did 3 layouts...too..first one of sommer and her new puppy blair, used some october afternoon paper....from the thrift shop line..

and of course just a everyday one of my grill...made it another summer

went up to scrappy chic today.....picked up some new basic grey, studio calico...pink paislee....papers...oh yeah...and some making memories travel line...yum okay these 7 gypsies label stickers give me that gushy feeling inside....I love these and it's been so long since they've had new ones of these...can't wait to jump in and play with these, hopefully tonight, but just picked up an Ikea desk to put all my junk on...so if not tonight...tomorrow or saturday...can't wait to touch and feel ...lol

well the scrap table is back out!! hoping to scrap alot over the summer....just really want to find that love for it that I had, and hoping with the baby it's gonna make me want to scrap again...I did a mini page...of the pregnancy tests I took....and how it took 3 home tests and a bloodtest before I would accept that it was true!!!and the next pages were done with the april kit over at tallyscrapper...awesome kit!! love the green and browns!!!

everything is going well...for the most part, today is my first doctor visit...I have a crib..which I need to bring in,it's still in the back of my car!!

was pleasently surprised to see this in my mail box the other day, wasn't sure if I had any more pubs coming, and I am for sure this is my last.....but a couple of my favorite layouts.....gonna miss the pubs...still think about submitting again...just takes alot of time...but it was worth it...this top one is mine of tonee and those sunglasses...I remember doing this one at JJ's crop

and this one on the bottom of the page is mine...took pics of sommer on our railroad tracks here in carleton.

did another simple page of the girls ...love these pics that robin took from once upon a memory, again it feels good to be scrappin' again....even got the new issue of somerset memories yesterday...I had 3 layouts in there...and I think that's the last of my layouts to be published..which is kinda sad...just don't scrap anymore, let alone submit..but I would like to start again...but I will post pics of those tomorrow....... looks like it is supposed to be a beautiful day today, I have to work all day....so I get to hear people come in and explain how beautiful it is outside...lol...oh well...the summer is coming..

yesterday me and jeniece spent the entire day at scrappy chic scrappin' we both got 3 layouts done, and without much struggle, I think our creative sides just needed to put something down on paper, it felt good....and actually made me miss the days when we were at our full scrap addiction...where it seemed a week couldn't go by without us croppin'...and for myself I remember honestly that a day couldn't go by without touching something scrapbookish!! I miss it...and I think I need it...maybe I need to get my scrap area back up and functioning.....also wanted to say hi to kathy...a blog reader who I happened to run into at the store yesterday, it was great meeting you, and can't wait to try out these retreats you talked about....Oh another bummer...yesterday was my first day shopping' without a discount...since I'm not on the team at scrappy chic...ouch that hurt..you kinda get used to always getting a discount...but I still did a little shoppin...the new bo bunny mammarazzi (not spelled right I'm sure) is so cute!!!!

and it was so cool that they had a vegetarian menu...I ordered this vegie buritto...the picture does it no justice this thing was huge!!!! and delicious!!

we celebrated julies birthday...(which is Ed's birthday too..) which I thought was a small world moment...cause we really hit it off right away!! but it was fun they brought her out this ice cream with a candle in it..and of course we sang happy birthday!!

went to the yard sale at scrappy chic..and wanted to share some pics of the treasures I found...julie found me some classic heidi swapp alphas..and of course love the orange ones..that are called pumpkin...
looking at this pics..makes me go to my happy place...rubons and alphas...doesn't get much better...LOL

and these are actually new product that caught my eye...love this alpha paper from sassafrass from their monstrosity line, and the making memories graph paper from the love struck line, and then the cute camera paper which i found accidently on the back side of some paper from imaginisce....

but of all the things I found...this was my favorite find....a handful of heidi swapp claissic chipboard hearts!!!! helloo...lover..best .75cents eva spent...ha,ha!!

I am working on a mini book of cha...already have a couple pages done..will post at least what I finish tomorrow!!! speaking of tomorrow...it's the start of my last week of school!!!

after the show, we jumped in a cab..(yeah my first time) and headed to downtown disney...how could I not get the ears...or at least a picture of them...lol..the disney store was amazing...such cool stuff expensive though....

and of course the girls wanted to stop in to lego land...to check out some legos for their boys....

there was this huge giraffe...very cool store...

Tuesday morning, Julie had already taken off to take one of her classes, so me and Chris were on our own at the bus stop!!
and this is something nobody would even think twice about!! but it was a big deal to me...if you notice the t-shirt I'm wearing it's a freebie shirt from SEI, and at the show there are some companies that give out shirts, and I've never been able to fit into them, sometimes you could get a 2x..but remember at my biggest I was pushing a 5-6x....well it felt good to wear this T-shirt,and it's a XL...insane to me sometimes, Chris had asked what size I wanted, and the old me wanted to say 2x just to be safe, but I said XL, then knew it was going to be too..small but it fit!! it felt great!!

so funny!! I walked past Heidi swapp like 3 times at the show trying not to be stalker-ish!! but finally tuesday, I was like forget it!! heidi can I get a picture with you!! and of course she was very sweet and said yeah...I love her!!!!

Well let's see what's going on.....well first I want to mention that tomorrow is the yard sale at scrappy chic http://scrappychiclivonia.blogspot.com/ you can go to the blog to find out info..I am so looking forward to it, not selling this time, but looking for some treasures for sure!!! Another thing is they're searching for a new design team, I won't be on the team any longer, and I am going to miss it..but looking forward to a new fresh group of ladies....and seeing their work in the store, but gonna miss seeing my family on the walls of the store, but am thankful for chris for letting me hang on a few years.....on her team!!! Okay only 2 more weeks of school...can't believe it!! and I did blood draw this past week...I drew 3 and got blood twice so not to bad!! wasn't easy , but wasn't as awful as I imagined, it's funny our entire class look like we all shoot up....!! poor tonee' I did both her arms and she did mine too....she got her externship too...I am so excited for her, more than myself, I want to see her be successful!!! Oh well off to work, then I have plans for dinner and a movie...hopefully!!! LOL

was so super thrilled to get a chance to do Nicole Harpers mini book make n' take over at the studio calico booth...it is so cute!! and so nicole!! you know shes a mini book goddess!!!

even got to meet davinie....yeah!! did her make n' take the next afternoon...the cutest magnets made out of cardboard, awesome studio calico papers...and even got to warm up my sewing machine skills....

come on am I the only one that can't pass up one of these photo ops...??? how could I...such a nerd!! I think this was at the I love to create booth

Okay I aint gonna lie...when this showed up in front of me I was a little scared!! was a little scared of breaking somethings legs...and then eating the meat out of it!! ugghhh...but after the first one...it was on..it was so good I was tearing it up!! by the end of the night..we were covered in crab meat....and not just our own..I think me and julie..flung chris with crab meat all night...lol..hey I was a crab virgin!!oh yeah...a scrapbookers dream when they brought out the giant bibs!!! woke up this morning to my car covered in snow!! love that...just kinda gets ya in the christmas mood....last night finished up some more shopping, then just came home and hung out with sommer we watched the vampire diaries!! Dang she loves those vampires!! But it was fun...we watched tv and I wrapped, the tree is getting full of presents, still struggle with feeling those gushy xmas feelings, and I know my kids are kinda out of that magical xmas age, it's more about what's on their xmas list...but looking forward to our family xmas party xmas eve next week, looking forward to playing euchre......then christmas day..just sitting around here cooking...okay not actually me cooking...but my mom...dang I'm lucky to have her...here !! LOL Oh and another page...I did at Scrappy chic the other day....

Well I am so excited to get the chance to go to California in January for CHA...with my lss Scrappy Chic http://www.scrappychiclivonia.com/ this will be my first time in california too...but feels good to say second time flying...Can't wait to find out what scrap celebs will be there...I have to say that is my favorite part!! and here is another page i finished up...from our trunk or treat at church!!
I think that I actually finished up christmas shoppin yesterday....felt good!! even picked up mom and went to lunch that was nice , we never really get a chance to do that....2 more days of school til' christmas vacation!!!

...Okay by cute back side...I mean..why does it always seem the cuter design is usually on the backside of the paper, came across this reminisce paper at Scrappy chic...and on one side is all these animals..which is fine..if that's what you're looking for...but when I happened to flip them over I found these magical designs...first the wood grain, the green and red gingham...and look at the brown polka dot...and the awesome color stripe!! so glad I flipped them..and looking forward to scrappin' them with the peeps...we are all getting together at erins new place....will be fun to have the gang back together for an old days crop!! also feel for these new october afternoon rubons and stickers!! yum..and colors go with my new papers!!!

Everything is okay over here, just started 2 new classes at school..that are already tough...having to study everyday after school to keep up...dang..I'm tired..!! OH YEAH.. and incase you haven't heard christmas is next month!!! how did that happen...." ? seriously!!

Sweetest day...I feel so frustrated just thinking how it was, how it could've been..that you're gone...just feeling major anxiety today...I don't like it, but plan on hanging with friends and having fun.....took the girls out to see paranormal activity last night..had some scary moments...but not one of my favs...we also went halloween costume shopping...they're gonna be my lil' devils!! me and tonee' are heading down to Ed's hometown of chillicothe Ohio..today after school...his uncle passed away....Just one of those people, that was just an awesome person, funny, caring...always took us in....and me and the girls actually stayed with them this summer when we went down for the reunion...so glad we had one last good visit.....he was only 62....and also had heart problems...so it should be an emotional day...

finished cutting my grass today, and shot a couple pics....hard to believe another summer is over, and this one..I pushed this mower all by myself......October is flying by....in our family we can help but to live it week by week....can't believe it's going to be 2 years since Ed's been gone, I think me and the girls are going to run away this weekend....just us....but I did scrap a little...today...with the new pics....

don't know if you've heard but THE Donna downey is going to be teaching at my lss Scrappy Chic... check out the info on their blog http://scrappychiclivonia.blogspot.com/2009/09/donna-downey-is-teaching-at-scrappy.html I am kinda bummed...I will be gone that weekend....it reminds me the last time she came to town at another store, me and jeniece had paid for our tickets...months before....and then Ed surprised me with tickets to see Kathy griffin...who I also love!! and of course they were the same weekend.....he was so excited to have gotten these tickets without me knowing....there was no way I could'nt go to the one he bought!! I struggled with it..at the time, but I know it was the right decision...and I had a blast!! but I always said she will be back...and she is...and of course I already have plans....Oh well!! Can't wait to hear all about her visit!! and I hope you all go get a spot before they sell out!! the mini books are gorgeous!!! Speaking of gorgeous...I ran across this 7 gypsies papers...I think it's called Barcelona!! yum....gorgeous polka dots and stripes in the most beautiful colors....I actually scrapbooked last night...been slowly working on a mini album....

after watching jeniece paint her swing....it inspired me to want to paint my old wicker seat.... so sommer helped me drag it in the yard, and start painting it...red...
It's not quite done yet...need to pick up one more can of paint....but I like the way it turned out.and really adds a bright welcome to the front of the house, it feels so fallish today...I'm ready for this fall.....halloween, leaves....cool weather, hoodies...pumpkins/....speaking of pumpkins..I also am making a pumpkin stem to decorate my car for halloween...but it turned out a little obscene..check it out on facebook...I posted pics!! but it's not done...

actually started working on a mini book of my trip to texas this summer...did the cover and the first page, and then ran out of adhesive...ughhhh!! Well it figures I would get the scrap bug, on the first day back to school!!

I got my copy of the autumn issue of the somerset memories, this is the first one of their big issues..now that they only do 2 a year...but it is huge...and packed full of tons of cool projects.....and they even have one of my layouts in there...this is mine on the top of the page......

so excited to be getting a week off of school....much needed...always gives us a boost when we go back, hard to believe and a little scary that we are half way done....but don't have much planned for the week, maybe take the girls to the apple orchard or something...they're getting so old....or maybe a movie night...a week from today...Tonee' turns 20 years old....still can't believe it!! Oh well gotta go...actually at work....and then I have weigh in tonight right after....wish me luck!!

I just realized I haven't introduced the newest member of the family....ughhh..Faithy...a stray at my moms.....I told sommer that she is her cat..when she moves out she can take her with her....but she is cute..and yes..Sommer has her dressed in baby doll clothes...but the cat loves it.. went scrapbooking at JJ's crop last night...my bff bailed on me...but she wasn't feeling good...so that's okay...but I did get one page...done..was funny at the crop, a couple people that read my blog..were on me, because I had said I was gonna get a ton of pages done...so when they seen the one...I was busted!! but maybe i will scrap somemore with bff tonight.... yesterday was so beautiful......I decided to got outside and scrap on the back porch for awhile...and did actually finish up to pages...not much to them..but it felt good to be creative again....this first one is of lil' mikey on his birthday..enjoying the homemade cupcakes aunt stac made for him (okay store bought)!! but heck he doesn't have to know that... and this one is of me and the girls when we went to the paint your masterpiece place on sommers birthday

Life is pretty good right now, school is hard...this is the hardest mod since I started, I don't know if it's because we are kinda in the half way mark, and I am just feeling burned out!! but I just feel like I am having trouble "getting" it...!! But we keep truckin' along. Looking forward to project runway tomorrow....even if they keep kicking off the most entertaining people...just love that show!! Oh well gotta go..on my way out the door to school!

got my copy of the new issue of scrapbooking and beyond yesterday!! and check out page 77.....this page really has alot of meaning to me...and they did a beautiful job with it!! and I can't wait to show my brother...such a simple page can have so much to say....
getting this in the mail, made me realize how much I love the challenge of getting published, and how I haven't submitted anything in a long time...I really want to start submitting pages again.....Well off to work, then probably hang at jenieces tonight...I think we might actually scrap again....it's a miracle!

it's been along time since I added a page to the art journal......and it's a little weird to be adding pages about "dating" yikes...who would've thought? so I finished 2 pages...I love the freedom of journal pages...no rules...this 2nd one has lots of hidden journaling....but years from now should be some interesting info...about my first date after 23 years!! good times....yeah..you can imagine...how crazy that was....

so excited that project runway started back up last night, and was fun hanging out with jeniece...to watch like we used to....even though my fav girl went home last night, not that I loved her work, but I like the ones that keep things interesting!! Well off to school..got another anatomy test today..and it's a biggie!! made a trip down to ohio to visit with Ed's side of the family, was kinda weird to pull up and see them all there...and not have ed with me...but it was good!! But for some weird reason...it just shows me how life goes on....whether we like it or not...great pic of all the grandkids except Tonee' who didn't go at the last minute.then we got all Eds brothers and sisters together...for a group shot!! Hard to believe I've known these people for 23 years.....crazy!!

so it was me and sommer all the way down...we did great with the help of the GPS!!

me and the girls spent the day at the fairIt was fun..the weather was perfect sunny but a nice breeze....we did the usual walked the buildings, ate junk and seen all the animals....Sommer got an airbrushed hat with her name on it...and me and tonee' picked out some new shades!! Looking forward to going back tonight...for the Jason Aldean concert with jeniece.....hopefully we don't get rained on....I know it's going to be crazy packed too...but I'm sure it will be an adventure!!

I haven't touched my scrap stuff since coming home from Texas....but this morning...I thought I would dust if off!! and even though my scan isn't the greatest..'cause of my big beautiful button!! I kinda like it....and it shows off tonee's new do....after letting someone mess with her hair, she had to go and get it all cut off...to save it!! but she rocked it..and is cute as can be!!I also got the sweetest card in the mail yesterday from my grief group!!
just a thinking of you card.....full of comments...it makes me miss them like crazy.....haven't seem them since march....hope to get a chance to though soon!!but it really made my day!!

last night...helped the tacketts move...well don't know if I actually helped ...but I was there....ha,ha!! Gonna take a little adjusting to not having jeniece right down the road, she moved there only about 2 or 3 weeks before Ed passed away...and I kinda feel like that was for a reason....because I have leaned on her...alot these past 22 months....but I also believe that maybe the move is meant to be too...and it's good for her....and me as I still adjust to standing on my own... But the good thing is she will be back out here tomorrow night...cause we are going to see jason aldean...in Concert!! yeah....Okay I think I am actually going to do some house work....just a little bit!!! bye....

Last weekend...I went to a graduation party for a son of my friend from high school...actually friends since we were like 7....Penny... was kinda cool to see her mom and aunt too...brought back lots of memories
also made a run out to scrappy chic....and had to have the new tim holtz mini stapler..alot of the ladies had it in texas....and it is even better in person....can't wait til' I actually scrap again....so I can play with it.

and these chipboard numbers from sassafrass...just screamed at me from the shelf...had to have them!!

well we have finals this week at school...so it's a crazy week....but hope to do well and looking forward to a week off next week.....and I am going down to Ohio to visit Ed's family...they're having a bbq...and I am looking forward to that, plus on monday..night I am going to the jason aldean concert!!

teenager!! My baby is a teenager.....it's weird to think I'll have 2 teenagers for a couple more months!! but the party went really well...and sommer quickly got over the fact that she had to share her party!! and she had this smile on her face most of the day... was glad that mikey and the kids made it out.....
we had a mean silly string fight!!! ready...set ....go!!

I am back!! and just wanted to say.....it was AWESOME!!! First I took my anatomy quiz and test on thursday before I took off...and found out I got 100% on the quiz and a 82% on the test!! whoo..hoo!!! So after school my family came over.....I literally had a car full drop me off....mom, dad...and the girls....it was sweet!!! oh my gosh I was scared here...but tried to act like I fly all the time!!!
and of course me and the girls had to get a quick pic.....before I headed in!

yep...even let mom drive my pumpkin!!

Oh...lord texas here I come!!!

okay...it's no secret...I love taking pics of feet...so had to get some pics of feet in the air....wait that could sound wrong..if you have a dirty mind...!!

but seriously the flight went perfect it was a little late taking off.....and I did get the pat down in chicago..when I switched planes!!! but besides that....the seats were comfy, the seat belt fit...easy...and I even ventured into the bathroom!! no problem

and when I got to texas.....I was picked up by the famous...Tally Ho...lattee....and pinky...bet you can't guess which one is pinky? ha,ha!!

I actually did like 11 pages while I was there...and I have a ton more pics...so I will be posting new stuff all week...to get caught up...life is busy...right now...had to jump right back into school..feel like I've been going non stop since I got off the plane!!

I've never been so excited/nervous...but the closer it gets to going the more excited I get!! but I am heading out the door to school...don't know how I am going to get through the day!!! I guess the Anatomy test and quiz will help me get through...ughh!! but I am all packed.....I know I will forget something...but with all those scrappers down there....somebody will have something..I'm sure!!!

found these pics on the camera...of Sommer...and boy oh boy did they bring back some memories of Tonee'....Hard to believe my baby is going to be a teenager....in less than 2 weeks!! How in the world did this happen'.....and it's kinda scary...It was hard enough getting through Tonee's teen years....and that was having Ed by my side...Lord be gentle on me with this one....I'm on my own this time.....!!! So for a couple months I will have 2 teenagers...and wait that is 2 teenage daughters...that's got to be worth extra credit right there..ha,ha!!

So I have been packing...and packing...and trying to study..I have to take my anatomy test a day early cause I won't be there on friday...So I am feeling a little overwhelmed....but once I'm on that plane...I am leaving it all behind...at least for a couple days in texas!! Me and Sommer watched a movie last night...I think it was called the passengers? and of course...not knowing what it was really about...it was about a plane crash...wouldn't recommend this movie...right before you fly for the first time..but truthfully it was an awesome movie!! me and sommer both cried like newborn babies!!

I still have to run around today after school and work...and pick up a few last minute things..but I think I'm pretty much ready....have been printing out pics...and then my printer started flashing it was getting low on ink.....I was like no you don't....I think I have printed enough pics for like 16 pages....and I know I would probably never do 16 pages...but being so far from home...I just would rather have to many than not enough....Well I gotta go..getting ready for school...peace out!!

ended up being a great 4th!!! We were all decorated.....up!! and I even found this cute pinyata at the thrift store for $1!!
and the birthday girl!! she was in such a good mood...and I think she liked being the center of attention!!

Made these jello shots last night....now a question? is it bad that I am already thinkin' of popping one in my mouth!! It is 9 am.....but got the family comin' over today...and I am looking forward to it..should be fun!!can't believe that I go to texas next week!! I am trying to get everything packed away...it's hard to figure out what to pack and how to..but I am so glad I picked up these trays from scrappy chic the other day...
they're really thin and have these compartments that I can bring all my little embellishments.....and I figure they will fit perfect in my suitcase...the girls were teasing me yesterday...about what if I lose my suitcase full of my supplies!! I told them that's not funny!!! but I have a feeling I would still have fun in texas ...with or without scrapbook supplies!!!

now check out my luggage I picked up.....and ended up getting it 50% off..!!! and it's cute!! probably only bring the big one and the carry on....wonder what I should put in the carry on? any suggestions??

been a little stressed lately with school....Anatomy is the hardest thing..ever!! and getting nervous about going to texas next week...so today after the dentist...I did a little scrapbook shoppin' therapy...just wanted to pick up a few goodies to take to texas!! check out these cute treasures..love those flowers..and the create tags!!and also got my hands on some of the new basic grey...and I don't know why...but I had to have that doggy paper....I will be using that...even if it ain't for a dog page!!
.......oops...sorry I was drooling over this new october afternoon!!! I have a weakness for anything travel...but add the touch of october afternoon...and I was practically humping it in the aisle!!

so then I came home with all that new paper...and did a layout on kraft!! how funny...but I did use some of the new doilie paper from basic grey!! super cute!! we had Destiny jade over yesterday...it's the first time we've seen her in a few months since my brother and her mom broke up....boy have we missed her!!

well I am packing up all my scrap stuff for Texas...I picked up some cute luggage...I will post a pic tomorrow, and I got some organizers for my stuff that should travel well.....Well hope everyone has a good fourth...Hard to believe that Alyssa E.d. will turn one tomorrow...gonna have a party here on saturday for her...Oh and I want to send a shout out to Katie....I love you too...ha,ha!!! and thanks for making me want to run home and scrap!!

Okay I obviously had no idea what an uproar...me driving on my video...would cause!! probably skipping weigh in tonight, no drama reason or anything...but just got home from school, my mom, neice, are over...plus we started our new mod today anatomy and computers(ethomas) and we have a test tomorrow..already!! now that isn't right!! but everything is good...and I will be back next monday....Oh and fathers day went as good as it could've took a couple pics I will post tomorrow....bye!! life is busy...but life is good right now....

Fathers day 2009 me and the girls went to cemetery, this picture just says to me that this is my life right now....and as we shared about how much we missed their dad...and we knew he would've been carving the watermelon, and wrapping the cabbage....and it started out sad, but before we knew it, we were laughing about all the things he used to do..all the memories he left us, and even though the girls only had him a short time, we realize how lucky we were because he left them with all good memories, that we will pass down..forever...and some people have dads their entire life......without great memories!!

when we got home I had a cookout for the other dad's in my life, my brother and my dad...we just cooked some burgers on the grill.......
and after everyone left....this is how I spent the rest of the day.....

Well it's fathers day and I am trying to get in the mood....to at least celebrate my father, but it is heartbreaking to watch my girls hurt, every fathers day commercial....everybody that mentions fathers day...just kinda shoves a dagger into your heart......but we need to adjust...and we are but that doesn't mean the adjusting isn't painful, but we will pull it together, and I am cooking out for the family today, and then me and the girls will probably run to the cemetary...just to take a minute to slow down, and celebrate what an wonderful father Ed was...and what we wouldn't give to have him flippin' those burgers today with us...I grilled out last night too...tried to make some veggie kabobs...but did put some shrimp on their at the end...
they're so good!!! and like no calories!!!

here's the page I started on thursday..and finished up yesterday...felt good to scrap, I might scrap somemore today...., also need to start figuring out what I am going to pack for Texas..It's going to be different packing for something that far away...but going to try and only pack what I love...and I still wonder how much actual scrappin' I will do...I've signed up for a couple classes while I'm there, like a canvas class, make buttons class, henna tattoo.....can't wait!!.....but it feels good to not have anything to study this weekend...we start our new mod on monday, so we find out what new classes and stuff

look at this cute mini book holder I picked up from Scrappy Chic....I think it's from chatterbox...?? and I love it.....sorry the pic is on it's side...didn't realize til I already posted it.... Not much being going on, had the neice and nephew over in the pool.....and while they were swimming we seen the goodyear blimp fly right over us...was really cool...lil' mikey loved it!!

Yesterday me and Tonee' found out, we both passed our Med Terms final with 100%....it was funny they give you 2 chances to take the test, and if you get 100% you get a special award...so on the first test we both did good got 99% but we wanted that 100% award, so we studied our butts off ( I wish that was literally) and we got it!! it felt amazing...and I am so proud of Tonee' for giving her all in...these classes.......Not much going on this weekend....Having a cookout for fathers day, and probably take the girls to the cemetary to put some flowers out for Ed..but besides that....I think it's going to be a pretty quiet weekend....and you know that's okay with me. I actually scrapped a little last night..but didn't finish...and I've been working on my stuff for the Texas Tally Rally.....for next month...I am so excited, me and Tonee' even did a drive through the airport....because I've never flown...I'm nervous.....!! But ready.....

jeniece had to back out of scrappin' with me last night, so I was all by my lonesome hangin' out at scrappy chic, which is probably why I actually got 4 layouts done!!! but it was fun they had a yummy chicken dinner, and I got to chat with some of the regulars.....and most important I scrapped, and then all of these are for the DT so I played and worked...

now it's time to study, I have my med-terms big test on monday, I need to know 350 terms...and I have a book report in my other class due...so I need to get busy...plus spend some time with sommer....
